Los Padres Evergreen Pinecone Resin Clip-Point Knife
$180.00
From forest floor to evergreen canopy, Los Padres Evergreen captures the living colors of the pine tree that inspired it.
The full-tang handle is crafted with a genuine pinecone spine suspended in translucent resin. Deep forest green, earthy brown, and touches of warm red surround the natural pinecone structure, creating a layered pattern that resembles branches stretching from the trunk of a tree.
Because the pinecone remains visible through the resin, each side reveals a different arrangement of scales, fibers, and natural markings. Brass-colored pins and a matching lanyard tube add warm points of contrast, while layered red and gold-toned spacers create a narrow transition between the woodland handle and polished steel.
The polished blade features a straight clip-point profile. A defined change along the spine leads into a long clipped upper edge that tapers toward a fine point. The lower cutting edge curves into a generous belly, balancing the narrow tip with a smooth, versatile cutting surface.
Full-tang construction carries the steel through the entire handle, creating a solid foundation beneath the pinecone-and-resin scales. The handle follows a gentle curve and includes a defined finger contour for a natural, comfortable shape.
A fitted brown sheath with vivid blue stitching and dual retention straps is included for protected storage and secure carry. The blue thread provides a subtle contrast inspired by open sky glimpsed through a dense pine canopy.
Named for the conifer forests of Los Padres National Forest, this knife preserves the structure of a real pinecone within its handle. Los Padres Evergreen feels warm, organic, and rooted in the woods from which its story began.
Every pinecone forms differently. Variations in color, scale pattern, resin placement, and natural markings make each knife individually distinctive.
